Precision ABA Is a Different Kind of ABA Practice.

Founded in Naperville in 2015 by Brigid McCormick, MA, BCBA, LBA, Precision ABA is an independently owned and clinician-led practice serving autistic children and adolescents ages 3–18.

We believe excellent therapy starts with seeing the person before the program. Our work combines the science of behavior analysis with Precision Teaching, thoughtful clinical judgment, and a commitment to helping each learner build skills that matter in their actual life.

OUR STORY

Precision Started Long Before Precision ABA

Disability services were part of founder Brigid McCormick’s life long before they became her career. Growing up as the older sister of an autistic brother, with parents who worked with adults with disabilities, shaped an early belief that support has to make sense in the context of a person’s actual life.

When Brigid later discovered behavior

analysis and Precision Teaching, she found

a science of learning that fit that perspective.

In 2015, she founded Precision ABA to build a practice that was deeply human, relentlessly individualized, and serious about the science of teaching.

What We Value

Diverse Classroom Activity

Precision ABA is rooted in a strong community built on collaboration, diverse perspectives, and trust. Learners, staff, families, school teams, and other professionals all bring important perspectives to the work we do. We aim to build a community where people feel supported, connected, and valued.

When we’re accepted as we are, we can build true, authentic connection. Acceptance, kindness, and intentionality are at the root of who we are and everything we do. When people feel safe and accepted enough to show up as themselves, ingenuity, creativity, and courage show up too.

Authentic Connection

Growth means continuing to learn. We expect that from ourselves as much as we support it in our learners. We stay curious, build our skills, look honestly at what is and isn’t working, and keep adapting as we help each learner work toward goals that are meaningful to them.

The People Behind Precision

Precision is shaped by the people doing the work every day. Our team brings different strengths, perspectives, and experiences to the table, with a shared commitment to learning, thoughtful clinical practice, and doing right by the children and families we support.
